I normally enjoy the Mossy Creek series, but this one got a bit dull. The same story line line got rerun over and over. I finished the book only by slugging through the same story over and over! I will attempt another Mossy Creek book, but hopefully it will be a bit better!

I find this series delightful. Not a 'page turner'. This fees authentic and could well be written set in the NW small mountain town I grew up in. The array of characters, all of which have major or minor flaws, but genuine good will -- at least at moments. The endings are sometimes predictable, but often contain an unanticipated twist as this one did .

This is the sequel to "Mossy Creek." It is just as heartwarming and charming as the first book. Most of the characters found in "Mossy Creek" are in this book. The most enthralling thing, though, is waiting to see if the person who burned down the Mossy Creek High School will be revealed. There are a lot of twists and turns leading up to "the final reveal," as well as a lot of wonderful, funny and/or sad stories. The ending is both exciting and disappointing, but I can't tell you why, lest I reveal too much!

I loved each one of these books so much! I learned so much from these remarkable characters!!! You will laugh and cry happy tears, and each book will make you feel good about yourself! These people are so wonderful. They all stick up for each other and I love the gun-carrying mayor Ida!! She makes all women proud!!! YOU MUST READ THIS SERIES!!!!!

Another good story from these authors. I'm just going to keep reading this series as far,as it goes. Just love all these characters.

I had to get away from books like Stephen King who has reverted to nothing but foul language to sell his books. I found "Mossy Creek" and "Reunion at Mossy Creek" to be wonderfully refreshing. I highly recommend you read Mossy Creek first and be prepared for a good read.

This is the second in a series of Mossy Creek books. So glad I discovered them. Love the small town and the enjoyable characters. I've already purchased the 3rd book in the series, and expect I will eventually get all of them. Some chapters are more serious, and some have you laughing out loud. If you like books set in the south, you will enjoy this.
If you enjoyed Mossy Creek this is an outstanding follow up! While I can't say it was as good as the first one. I can say it was still a pleasant and enjoyable read. Not all books have to be thought provoking some books are just great because they leave you with a good feeling when you're done. This series still makes me wish this was where I'd grown up!
