As I remember Edgar Cayce's readings, he, too, said that we can avert disasters by how we treat each other and the planet. Something to think about at the very least.

Goodman's theory is that the recent rise in earthquake activity is only the beginning a twenty year series of continental upheavals that will mean the end of civilization as we know it. And unfortunately, he has the fact to prove that i. .

The book was in much better condition than I had expected. I had purchased this book when it first came out but lost or misplaced it. The copy I've just received is exactly like the original I purchased. I wanted to read this book again because, although I don't profess to being a phychic, lately I been sensing some turmoil beneath our earth surface.

About The Sources We Used. 1. we are the earthquake generation. This book was originally published in 1978. Dr. Jeffrey Goodman, P. collected predictions from seven well–known psychics. Although not completely unanimous in their predictions, Goodman found that the psychics "were predicting the same earth changes. His seven psychics were: Edgar Cayce, the famous American trance psychic who lived from 1877 to 1945; Aron Abrahamsen, a contemporary psychic in the Cayce mold; Beverly Jaegers, a psychometrist; Bella Karish, a psychic noted for her medical skills; Rev.

One of today's most controversial scientists, Jeffrey Goodman, Ph.D., has correlated for the first time the predictions of tests psychics such as Edgar Cayce with the latest research on earthquake activity. The result is a terrifying scientific forecast of world-wide catastrophe. Tidal waves, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, drowned cities, a new ice age, sinking continents, killer storms, nuclear disasters. Goodman's theory is that the recent rise in earthquake activity is only the beginning a twenty year series of continental upheavals that will mean the end of civilization as we know it. And unfortunately, he has the fact to prove that it can happen!

Interesting treatment of the subject, although some of the evidence is rather hokey.

Good Book. The Global warming is a hoax and this is a good first book to prove it.

I read this back in the early 80s, and I loved his term of "bio-relativism", if I have it correctly, that by what we think and how we act, we can affect the earth in a good or a bad way. (My apologies to Goodman if I have described what he said incorrectly.)

As science advances in the field of quantum physics, I think that Jeffrey Goodman was a man well ahead of his time. I would like to think that all of us reading this book in those years perhaps helped us not to go down that negative path that was predicted for the 90's. As I remember Edgar Cayce's readings, he, too, said that we can avert disasters by how we treat each other and the planet. Something to think about at the very least.
I read this book in the 70s. Based on what I read, it convinced me NOT to move to California, where I have family. Considering how pathetic California is now, this book was a blessing. What I found intriguing is how the author took several different approaches that ultimately came to the same conclusion. To say that psychics alone, was the deciding factor is incorrect as the author used geology, as well as other sciences. To say the book was incorrect in it's premise is not accurate, as we are NOW seeing an extreme uptick in earthquakes all along "the ring of fire." The earth has her own timeline. Ultimately, she is the one who decides when this will happen. I found this book to be very helpful.
