Reviews about The Cat Ate My Gymsuit (7):
love this book, recommend it to high school kids who are not confident in them selfs, having a hard time in school, or what to make the most of high school.
Such a great book! I read it and loved it as a kid, and bought this for my daughter who also loves it! I recommend it for about age 10, although older kids may still like it.
I have recently been going back and reading some of my favorite books from when I was young. I enjoyed this book as much if not more this reading and I am 33 now! I highly recommend reading this book for a nice escape into the life of 13 year old in the 70's. (The original printing is what I recommend, the description above sounds like they may have updated the book and that as far as I am concerned would ruin the whole point of it. Find an old copy!)
Fun book, my 5th grader read it and enjoyed it. fast moving and that's why I think it appeals to boys.
This item was brought for my son. As soon as he received it he only put it down to sleep.
great little book
I remember reading this as a teenager, and bought it for my 10-year-old. It's very well written and really speaks to the pre-teen audience.
