I’m thirteen and I’m in eighth grade at Stoneybrook Middle School. We had a club meeting the next day after school. When we’d said good-bye and hung up, I thought about how lucky I was to have such a good friend.

I’m thirteen and I’m in eighth grade at Stoneybrook Middle School. I have long black hair and almond-shaped eyes (I’m Japanese-American) and in case you haven’t already figured it out, I’m not what you would call a scholar. In fact, the test I was studying for was in remedial math. And even though Stacey’s my best friend, I’m especially lucky because I’ve got a whole gang of other friends, too - the other members of our club.

As you can tell in Claudia and the Middle School Mystery, Claudia is not a great math student . e-ISBN 978-0-545-69033-1. Ann M. Martin, Claudia and the Middle School Mystery. Thank you for reading books on BookFrom.

Always hated mysteries, but I was glad to see that this one wasn't really a traditional mystery. As in, no one thinks there's a ghost or a burglar somewhere stupid. However, the mysteries involved--who broke the window at the Pikes' house, and how Claudia got blamed for cheating when she didn't cheat--are extremely contrived. Of course there's some silly explanation for why none of the accused triplets are actually fully responsible for the broken window. And of course the girl who got the same grade and the same problems wrong as Claudia somehow planned ahead of time to cheat off Claudia and left a string of evidence. What really kinda sucked about this book is that even though plenty of people knew that Claudia's older sister--Janine the genius--helped her study for the math test, no one seemed to take this into account when considering whether she might have cheated--her parents disbelieved her, her teachers disbelieved her, and even her friends disbelieved her, yet some jerk girl in her class had enough faith in her sister's tutoring abilities to conspire to cheat off her. Okay.

This is a good book because it is very realistic, which is something that I like in some books. This book is about when a math test comes up and Claudia tries her best. She even asked her sister Janine, the annoying genius, for help. When Claudia's grades came out same as another girls, who is really good at math, Claudia is happy. That is until she found out that they missed the exact same thing on the exact subject. Now they have to face the sub teacher. The sub thinks that Claudia cheated, but the BSC knows that Claudia didn't. Besides, Claudia studied really hard and even Janine thinks that Claudia did a good job. Now there's only one problem, prove Claudia's innoncence. Saying that is easy, but how can they do so? Join the BSC on this exciting book and find out!

This book was great, even though claudia wasn't treated fairly by her teacher just because she makes bad grades. i think her teacher was being very unfair. Janine, her older sister helps her with her problem and her friends in the BSC do all sorts of crazy things to clear her name-because claudia really made an A or a B!!! Will claudia make the grade she deserves? Or will her teacher keep on believing that claudia cheated? Read the book to find out!

(be prepared for a run-in with the principal and breaking into lockers! :))

Here's the story: Claudia's substitute math teacher, Mr. Zorzi, is having his class take a test. Later, when Claudia's test gets an A-, she is overjoyed--until Mr. Zorzi asks Claudia and a classmate of hers, Shawna Riverson, to come to his desk. He accuses Claudia of cheating on the test. Claudia talks about it with her fellow baby-sitters, and they inspect Shawna's locker. Later, Claudia finds Shawna, Susan Taylor, and another friend of theirs in the girls' bathroom. Finally, Claudia proves, with the help of the Baby-sitters, her sister Janine, and Mr. Zorzi, that it was SHAWNA who cheated. You've got to read this book!

Claudia and the others display a startling maturity for their age in this series. This book and also Baby-sitter's Haunted House display that well about Claudia. Guests include Shawna and Mr. Z. Sub-plot of this story is the mystery of which Pike triplet broke the window.

After having studied really hard for a math test Claudia is thrilled to have gotten an A. However she is accused of cheating. Her friends are behing her and set out to prove that she did not cheat. After all she studied hard and deserved the grade she got. I wasn't very impressed with this book. Most teachers would actually take the time to listen to both sides of the story to find out who cheated instead of jumping to conclusions. A teacher would probably also have them both resit the test immediately. This book is not nearly as good as some of the others.

This is a wonderful book. Claudia's older sister Janine helped her study for this really big math test she had the next day and Claudia was ready for it and Claudia earns an A- and Shawna Richardson cheats off of Claudia's paper and her teacher accuses her of teaching off of Shawna's paper and she didn't Claudia ended up proving to the principal and the teacher that she wasn't the one who cheated on the test.

Claudia does excellent on a math test but a teacher thinks she cheated, and it was really upsetting to hear that a teacher would condemn her for something she didn't do just because her marks were lower before.
