Reviews about Navy Baby (The Navy Series #5) (Silhouette Special Edition, No 697) (7):

I enjoyed this story, partly because I've been to several of the places mentioned and my son used to be in the Navy. But... I found the premise of there being no sex for so long in this marriage of near-strangers to be unbelievable. Even though its fiction and just meant to be entertaining, I found my self thinking "oh no way would this happen!" Oh, and no way a big guy would be a submariner.

I finished it though, and did mostly enjoy it. In general I like Debbie Macomber's stories.

The story is very predictable, but if you like well described sex and lots of it, then this book is for you. The characters are revealed to the reader but not to each other and therein lies the suspense. Will they work it out or not? Meanwhile, it is hot with lots of details about desire, emotional and physical needs, and sex.

I read this book many years ago and I loved it then. I was thrilled to see Kindle version had been released. It was still a great story. Riley and Hannah met in Hannah's greatest pain. They have a night of passion which results in her pregnancy. They are somewhat bullied into marriage by her father and his Navy commander. The rest of the story is of them making this marriage work. Worth a couple of hours of my time still.

I enjoy Debbie's books so much because they have interesting storyline, are romantic without gush and are just fun to read. This story with a baby involved is so sweet and adds a new aspect to story. Thank goodness the former fiancé who died did not cause any real problems...just more thought on wondering what was going to happen. I also enjoyed the detective part of the story. Good book!

Navy Baby, enjoyed the stories from the beginning to the end.
I would recommend it to anyone.

I like Debbie Macomber books, however I feel this fell short of her usual writing. The story line was good but drawn out too many ways. It was an ok book.

Very entertaining! It was another book written by Debbie Macomber that was hard to put down. Well written and heart felt. It is always great to read a book that you can not figure out how the two characters will find their way to the "living happily ever after". I definitely recommend this book!
Can't call it a series because the characters are all different, but as usual Debbie Macomber has some of the best storylines out there. I was in the military and her attention to detail was very spot on. These books I will read over and over again. Enjoy a book you'll read again and again.
