Elder Barbara Gibson–Thorpe is a Wiradjuri from the Origin People of Australia. She is 65 years old and lives in Echuca, an Australian town in northern Victoria. Disconnected from her roots by the intrusion of Westerners, her life purpose is to allow her aboriginal culture to, at the very least, have the same rights as those who arrived and took over. Writing career She completed her first book, Interview with the Vampire, in 1973 and published it in 1976. This book would be the first in Rice's popular Vampire Chronicles series, which now includes over a dozen novels, including 1985's The Vampire Lestat and 1988's The Queen of the Damned. Along with several non-series works, Rice has written three novels in the Lives of the Mayfair Witches sequence. Plans to adapt Rice's Lives of the Mayfair Witches trilogy into a twelve-hour miniseries to be aired on NBC were dropped after a change of studio head and subsequent loss of interest in the project.

I think it will be interesting to compare the information she has gathered to the videos from other mediums who have interviewed the same personalities. I published what was one of the first collection of interviews in 1999, Party of Twelve: The Afterlife Interviews

Her glass was always half full, never half empty; tomorrow would be a much better day than today; the future was full of promise and success. Her nature induced her to forge ahead with her projects, undaunted and full of bravery.

Party of Twelve presents a fascinating look from Afterlife at a wide range of cultural issues, including domestic abuse . It is also a book about hope and possibilities. The interviews with Hitler and Jesus gave a perspective that I had never considered before.

Party of Twelve presents a fascinating look from Afterlife at a wide range of cultural issues, including domestic abuse as seen by Nicole Brown Simpson, reincarnation and education by Albert Einstein, feminism and abortion by Norma Jean Baker, and gratitude and AIDS by Ryan White, among others. Hitler was the absolute worst embodiment of humanity, so we could hopefully learn not to follow that path again. Jesus was the embodiment of humanity’s full potential and it is supposedly within our reach.

In this splendid new book he has numerous fascinating, scandalous, funny and gloriously entertaining tales. His enthusiasm, irreverence and wit are irresistible. Meetings with Remarkable Manuscripts is, like each one of the 12 treasures it celebrates, a book of marvels. I got the e-book after hearing an interview with the author on a pod cast. This is a gorgeous book, full of fascinating stories connected to twelve different medieval manuscripts (some as much as 1500 years old, some as young as 400-500 years old). Lots of high-resolution color photos accompany the stories to help make them come alive.

Many of us turn to social media to verbalize those feelings about figures in the public eye.

Truthfully, I was also a little intimidated by the prospect. Besides, I figured that since I’d be moving to New York after graduation, I could polish up the paper into something presentable and, at some point down the road, get in touch. Many of us turn to social media to verbalize those feelings about figures in the public eye.

In 1998, Barbara was enlisted by a representative from a British tabloid to conduct an interview with Diana Spencer, Princess of Wales for the anniversary of her death. While the interview was never published, a project began that truly stretched beyond my wildest dreams. Twelve interviews with some of the most famous figures of the 20th century all working together for world peace. This book presents a fascinating look from Afterlife of a wild range of cultural issues, including domestic abuse as seen by Nicole Brown Simpson, reincarnation and education by Albert Einstein, feminism and abortion by Norma Jean Baker and gratitude and AIDS by Ryan White. Ending with the Manifesto of the Destiny of World Peace, "Party of Twelve" is sure to get you thinking about other possibilities for creating peace on our planet, and reassures us that we really are never alone.

I picked up this book after one of my spiritual teachers told me about it. When he described it I knew I just had to read it as it sounded absolutely fascinating. It's a channeled book that contains interviews with a bunch of famous people, including:

John F. Kennedy, Jr.: He describes what happened the night his plane crashed, how it felt to die, what happened in the afterlife when he met up with his parents.
Diana Spencer: She talks about her life, her relationship with the Queen, what really happened the day she died, how she's working with her sons from the afterlife.
Gianni Versace: He discusses homosexuality and the fashion industry.
Nicole Brown Simpson: She explains what went on in her relationship with OJ, whether he really killed her, and the work she's doing to help her children now that she's gone.
John F. Kennedy: He provides answers to what went on that led to his assassination.
Jacqueline Onassis: She explains things from her life, what's happening in publishing, etc.
Albert Einstein: He shares about his life, his discoveries, and the excitement of getting to reach people from beyond the grave.
Adolph Hitler: Hitler shares the reason behind him coming to Earth and perpetrating such suffering on others.
Ryan White: He discusses what happened when he got AIDs after a blood transfusion, being shunned, and also helping others accept those who are different.
Norma Jean Baker: She tells what it was really like to be Marilyn Monroe, a little bit about her relationship with JFK, why she had abortions, and whether she was murdered or committed suicide.
Sigmund Freud: He talks about his various discoveries, corrects some of the things he got wrong, and tries to continue to help people.
Anwar Sadat: His interview focused on the Middle East and his role in helping peace flourish there.
Jesus of Nazareth: He talked about his various lives and the things he learned.
Whether or not you really believe the author channeled the spirits of these people, this book still offers a lot of food for thought. It's also entertaining and interesting to hear from these people who many have admired from afar and see things from their perspective. I think it's wonderful that they are working together to help others and help bring peace to the planet.

Highly recommended for anyone interested in the people in the book, those interested in channeling/mediums/psychics, or anyone looking for answers who enjoys things from a spiritual perspective.

This book is a real eye opener. Some of the souls interviewed include Einstein, John, John, Jr, & Jacquie Kenney, Nicole Simpson-Brown, and, amazingly, even Adolf Hitler. His presence in the book took me by surprise, as well as some emotional quieting to read and consider his words. He explains that before he incarnated, he accepted the part he was to play in the time leading up to WWll, that the scenario was formulated for a reason. It gave me a lot to think about, and I was truly surprised that I could find forgiveness in my heart. Forgiveness is always a necessary act in order for the world to right itself with our help. Hopefully this will help others see the much larger picture. This is a small, but powerful book.

Ever since my parents and 2 of my brothers passed during the years between 2006 through 2011 and I was blessed with the experience of a session with a Medium, I believe in the Afterlife. Between that experience and reading this book, I no longer have any doubts. These interviews are interesting, enlightening, educational, and most definitely thought provoking! I am so glad I happened upon this book!

I thought this book was absolutely fascinating. The author says, right up front, you can believe what she wrote as being real, or you can enjoy it as an inventive work of fiction. Either way, it is entertaining. It is also a book about hope and possibilities. The interviews with Hitler and Jesus gave a perspective that I had never considered before. Hitler was the absolute worst embodiment of humanity, so we could hopefully learn not to follow that path again. Jesus was the embodiment of humanity's full potential, and it is supposedly within our reach. Without the darkness, can we recognize the light? The viewpoints of he other interviews invite the reader to look at things from a different angle. Very well written. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
