This book features patterns of sentence structure, which is not quite the same thing. It's OK, but not really helpful. The twenty patterns stressed in this book have helped me tremendously. But don't stop there. Don't forget to check out the appendix at the end of the book. Many of us (myself included) have felt the need at one time or another for a useful guide on the proper codes of punctuation. The Appendix here is one of the best guides I've seen on this topic. When should you use a colon, semicolon, comma, or dash?

This Barron's Series book is a concise offering of valid patterns. Most were all familiar, but thinking of them this way could help one broaden their style. It's also a handy guide to punctuation, which I valued for its flexibility in certain situations.
This Barron's Series book is a concise offering of valid patterns. My copy, bought used, includes handwritten sentences filled in for all of the exercises. Some of these were quite comical, and many appeared to be intended for the good graces of whoever was grading them.
