Vital and health statistics. This report presents 1992 data on leading causes of death by race, sex, and Hispanic origin using three age aggregations.

Various statistics on mortality other than as included in regular annual or monthly reports.

In 2017, age-adjusted death rates for dementia were higher among non-Hispanic white persons compared with non-Hispanic black and Hispanic persons (7. per 100,000 compared with 6. and 4., respectively). Also, among women, the rates were highest among non-Hispanic white women (7. ) compared with non-Hispanic black women (6. ) and Hispanic women (4. ). The age-adjusted death rate for non-Hispanic white men was not statistically different from the rate for non-Hispanic black men (5. compared with 5. )
