Main aim of the Communist cultural policy was utilize growing importance of culture for their own propaganda. The cinematography became one of the biggest mass media in the second half of the 20th century. Through films and serials people didn’t receive only fun, but they were influenced also by cultural and educational feature of films and serials. Aim of this paper is show the issue of workers’ propaganda in selected Czechoslovak films. The paper also focuses on the image of the labour, their self-reflection and identification with film stories.
