Ian Wolstenholme is an ordinary man who randomly awakened to the realized space in 1969. The assimilation of this process continues to this day, Ian was not transformed into a god or bestowed with remarkable powers. His consciousness was expanded to include the viewpoint from which the human condition could be examined and revealed to be as it is. Ian came to see the extent of our conditioning and the way in which this set of meanings govern life as it is lived. The massive false interpretations continue to be implanted as beliefs into the personalities of every being alive today.

The book is transcribed from talks that Ian gave on the subject of enlightenment, relationships and inner freedom. Most books about enlightenment tend to celebrate the experience of illumination as an end in itself. This book is more interested in what comes after such experiences, how they can be integrated and the attempt to live a life of integrity and authenticity. Indeed, living life in conscious relationship to others is a possiblity for all of us. The question and answer format of each chapter draws out many practical examples and the pleasure of this book is that it does not pretend to give all the answers, but rather offers a direction we can choose to go in to create greater self awareness.

I've not read this book (yet). I've just purchased it, but I was surprised to see it has no reviews. I've just watched this author on Conscious TV on the internet. He was...absolutely astounding. So was the interviewer Ian McKay. So I'm very excited to acquire this book. I'll be back to make the 5-start rating official, once I've read the book. Right now, the 5 stars are for the supreme eloquence, humility and authenticity the author exhibited in the interview I just watched. These are lofty topics to speak of (yet alone to attain) so to speak as fluently and honestly as he did was a real gift. So, until I return... google the interview.

What insight, care, and attention that Ian has given to each question he answers in this book. Many spiritual myths and common problems are examined here with compassion and precise thinking. My life is better for reading it, and for the time I have spent in dialogue with the him. Thank you so much
