Throw her heart
Digital Photography is an excellent resource for aspiring photographers, packed with amazing tips and overflowing with useful information. Dadan walks you through the process of creating great pictures step-by-step, from buying or upgrading a camera to retouching a picture for optimum quality. She even discusses multiple ways to save photos and upload the images to your computer. The table of contents is as good as an index, and there are loads of spot-on tips. (I am especially excited about the one on the potential new data limits on CompactFlash!) I appreciated that this book did not in any way feel biased to me. So many times, authors have a favorite brand or style and give other options little attention; but not in this book. Each topic was given thoughtful consideration and different options were presented equally. I was absolutely fascinated with the concept of macrophotography. I look forward to checking out more from this author. Dadan definitely knows her stuff!

I recently got into photography, and found this book extremely helpful. It's wonderful with the graphs and photos and detailed notes on how to take pictures the RIGHT way. No wonder why my pictures always came out bad, but after going over this book, I found out my mistakes. Highly recommended!

I received a nice digital camera for Christmas this past year. But how to make best use of it was my first question and concern. This book looked promising and the price was certainly right. I decided to take a chance.

As you've surmised from my review, I am very happy with my decision. I don't know how much a seasoned photographer will benefit from this book (it will take me a little while to achieve the "seasoned photographer" status), but I can certainly highly recommend it for someone with my level of experience.

Pick up this very handy guide today; I imagine you'll be as happy as me. And I also believe you'll be armed with confidence in your ability to make very good use of your digital camera.

As a lover of Photography and most importantly Digital photography, I have found this book to be really very helpful piece of work.
I enjoy taking lots of photographs and I know most times, I have not been considering all the key things that need to be focused on while buying camera, taking pictures, the right way to focus, how to ensure image stands out neatly done and nicely.
However, the Author of this book has incredibly explored lots of interesting aspects of digital photograph.
The book comes in 7 chapters plus Appendices with beautiful images that can help you understand the key aspects of photography mentioned by the Author. The topics I found very fascinating and helpful include but not limited to how to use camera to create perfect pictures, very important tips on Digital Photography, How to solve common Printing Problems, How to upload and store your photos, how to make your pictures stand out, how to photograph objects in motion, how to use white balance, how to crop images. how to photograph animals etc etc.
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking to learn about photography or looking to become a much better professional photographer and the price is also highly unbeatable.

Not only do I want my money back I want my time back. I am not sure this woman has ever used a digital camera. The information what there was of it was outdated and useless. She is talking about 3 mega pixels. My phone has 8, Best-selling author where? Most of the photos are of old film equipment. Six bucks and an hour I lost.
