This book does a very good job of capturing the diverse landscapes of BC. It's a coffee-table picture book, and the only writing within it is the captions for the 70 photos, so it only takes about an hour to get through the whole book. Most of the pictures are amazing, but a few are below par. The captions are informative, but it would have been very helpful if a small map would have been included with each picture/caption to show where the picture was taken.

I would definitely recommend this book for anyone's coffee-table collection. The only problem is that the price is fairly high considering how short the book is, which is what's preventing me from buying the other books in this series by Whitecap Books.
