This book contains nothing about the notation standards for more commercial genres
This book contains nothing about the notation standards for more commercial genres. There is no information about chord symbols, rhythmic and/or slash notation, notation for drum set. Many techniques that are written for commercial brass and woodwinds are excluded. The only caveat I have is that, while all the information you need or want is likely in the book, you might have some difficulty finding it. I got the Kindle version of the book, and there could be substantial improvements in indexing, cross-referencing etc.
