Buriwield
Told from the viewpoint of a number of authors, this text outlines the field of world politics (not international politics as has been taught lately). This is an interesting lead in to how nations talk to one another, do business, and ultimately how problems faced by the international community can be presented and resolved. Ultimately a good read, without tying the reader down with field-based minutiae, this text can be useful to both the knowledgeable layperson, the student and the professional.

This book was required from my professor, but when I received this book, I was surprised at the organization and easy comprehension of such complex and ambiguous concepts! I am NOT an academia, but I think this is a really good textbook for students learning about international politics.
