Good book to get familiar with OT.

I was required to get this book for my Orientation to OT class. So far I have found the book to be very helpful on my journey to becoming an Occupational Therapist. There is alot of good information in here. Some parts, such as the charts, may be a bit out dated but the information is still very helpful. I am really enjoying using this book to help me in my class.

This text book is OK to get if you have absolutely no idea what OT is. The information within is very general (thus the 2 stars rating)- even the case studies. I should have gone to the library instead of dishing out the money for it. If you're considering studying OT, I recommend going to the library first.

Had to buy this book for a class I am taking. Book is easy to understand, and is a nice, smaller size compared to other textbooks. Would definitely reccommend to anyone. Great buy!

I'm laughing at the fact that this edition, released in 2007, is selling here on Amazon for a penny. One penny. Basically, they're giving it away for free. The latest edition, released just four years later in 2011, is selling for $59, and is virtually identical to the old one. Educational publishing is such a scam, and colleges and universities are in on it. That is some shameful s***.
