These selfish elements constitute the mere husks of life, and must be thrown away by him who would penetrate to the Central Heart of things-to Life itself. Other books on spirituality included The Eight Pillars of Wisdom and From Passion to Peace.

Everyone should read this book, all James Allen books are well known, especiially 'AS A MAN THINKETH' I have it in hardback..All his books are so good for every one of us,and if this book, which is not based on any one religion, but just teaches us to live more successfully in this world how to feel comfort, love and happiness. That's is great, only wish I had known about them before adulthood , because it can give a sense of confidence as well as wisdom to guide us in life. That would be a great gift to have a map of what is best to do in any situation and to feel comfort and confidence that we are on the best path for our own special existence.
