Wesley College is a Protestant co-residential college of over 230 students within the University of Sydney.
Wesley College is a Protestant co-residential college of over 230 students within the University of Sydney. The College occupies a site on the main campus of the University of Sydney and was built on a sub-grant of Crown Land. Wesley is one of six on-campus colleges at the University of Sydney which provide accommodation. History In 1923 the college averaged 45 students. Wesley College was male only until 1968, and has consequently been criticised for discrimination against women.
Reverend James Stuart Udy OAM (30 September 1920 – 24 February 2003) was an Australian Uniting Church minister, Master of Wesley College, University of Sydney.
Reverend James Stuart Udy OAM (30 September 1920 – 24 February 2003) was an Australian Uniting Church minister, Master of Wesley College, University of Sydney, author and President of the World Methodist Historical Society from 1977 until 1983. Jim Udy was a Methodist minister, and one of three brothers who became ministers of religion. Gloster Udy was his older brother, and Richard Udy was his younger brother.

Education at the Theological Faculty of the John Wesley Theological College focuses on two targets: a) training students who have a calling to become pastors, spiritual and catechetical ministers within the Hungarian Evangelical Fellowship, the church that maintains our institute; b) training theologians and pastors who wish to serve God’s word in other churches.
