At home, Lisa would never forget the tragic consequences of her accident--a scar and the loss of her fiance. A job on a distant Karoo farm offered a solution.

Unfortunately, the job meant working for the devastating Adam Vandeleur. He was an impossible man to please.

So when Lisa heard his mother say, "You need a wife, Adam, someone like Lisa," she didn't know whether to laugh--or to run!

I loved the match-making in this book, even Adam joined the club.
Lisa was the only one not in the club. She had no idea of all the people working to get her and Adam together.
Although Adam didn't really know how to be gentle he was learning.
