I did like the diversity of the tales

These stories from THE UNEXPECTED and GHOSTS spotlight a space. I did like the diversity of the tales. Not so standard hauntings, mythical creatures from Indigenous and Mexican lore. The art work throughout and on the last pages were beautiful. There’s even a story by Geoff Johns which is neither pointlessly mean and nasty nor going through Alan Moore’s bins, and that in itself is a truly weird and unpredictable occurrence, even if the story itself is only salvaged by Jeff Collecting two Vertigo anthologies from some impressive talent – Joe Kubert’s last solo story, Al Ewing’s only DC work.

Tales of the Unexpected (TV series). Tales of the Unexpected (Roald Dahl's Tales of the Unexpected) is a British television series that aired between 1979 and 1988. Each episode told a story, often with sinister and wryly comedic undertones, with an unexpected twist ending.
