My course advised against ordering this version of the book due to variations from the US version, but the price difference was so extreme I had to give it a shot. After all, the item description clearly states it has the "same contents as in US edition" so there was nothing to lose, right? Wrong. I had a copy of the first two chapters of the US version thanks to the Textbook Reserve offered by my school, so I did a comparison. I noticed the first major discrepancy on page TWO. It was small, so I went ahead to the end of the chapter to review the You Manage It! lessons that are part of my required assignments, and You Manage It! 3: Discussion had a completely different header and story. The US version shows Managers and HR Professionals at Sands Corporation: Friends or Foes? while this version shows Plight of an Intelligent Management Trainee. Big difference.

While I'm sure this version is great for self-study to simply learn more about Managing Human Resources, if you need it for class, make sure you get the right ISBN and don't fall for the misleading item description.

I received a version that's supposed to be only sold in India and surrounding counties. I have assignments that come out of the textbook and some of them don't match up with what's supposed to be there.

I have learned tons of stuff from this book. The book does a really nice job of organizing every detail. I can say already that it is a HARD read, but I guess a college book should be. I had to read some pages twice, look up some words in the dictionary, and sometimes re read the chapter just to get the information synced. I really liked the information it has taught me about diversity, unions, laws, and so on. It is very valuable information that any business owner should defiantly know.

I’ve rented quite a lot of books and this one is the best condition yet. I am so happy with this textbook and the price of renting saved me hundreds. Very pleased!

Ordered the Asian paperback copy for class because I read it was the same version as the US copy. Unfortunately, it was much different than the US copy. Spend the extra money to rent it or buy it used in the actual US printed version if you're needing exact questions/assignments for a class.

Good textbook, rented it in hardback format for a Human Resources Management course, passed with an A+. The rental was a steal at about $18 for five months. The book and I did our jobs.

I was worried that this would book would be somehow inferior or an incomplete version of the more expensive 7th Edition of the "real" book required for my class. As far as I can tell, it's the same book. This graduate student is very pleased.
