Rising Tide (The Rising . .has been added to your Cart. The book cover caught my eye and the story kept me reading. Lynn Steigleder was born in Richmond, Virginia. He spent most of his young adult life as a supervisor in the field of construction and fabrication. I wonder if it is meant to mirror Revelation/ Genesis? I felt an Adam and Eve vibe. When Lynn s department was outsourced within two months of his diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, he realized the need to transition into a new career path.

In America; Rising Tides. Continue reading the main story. The easiest approach for the time being is to pretend it's not happening. It's better for the nerves in the short run to remain riveted by the Clinton follies or the latest shenanigans on ''Temptation Island'' than to acknowledge that the majestic ice cap atop Mount Kilimanjaro, which seemed for so long to be an almost permanent feature of the planet, will vanish in less than 15 years.

The West Virginia Education Association reminded us how important it is to be bold, fearless, and unapologetic as we fight for our livelihood. Collective action of rank-and-file members have become a rising counterbalance to the business-as-usual tactics collusively orchestrated by corporate education reformers, austerity politicians, and some union leaders. Lessons still resonate from 2012, when the Caucus of Rank-and-File Educators sparked our imaginations with their citywide strikes across Chicago.

This is the first historical romance I EVER read, and it has hooked me for life. It was such a great and wonderful story. Beth Talbot and Raleigh Ekhart's struggles and triumphs were so well written. This is a story that made me cry, made me mad, and in the end made me very happy. I really do need to re-read it (I have a went dog-eared copy in storage)

TTRT a 1979 Bodice Ripper read like a soap opera, and I enjoyed every tragic cheesy moment. Beth Talbot is the type of h they write songs about in books due to what she overcame as the abused 13yr old child of a dirt poor tenant-farmer during Revolutionary times.

Times were extremely hard for a pregnant young girl-child, it was made more so for Beth because of her hellish home life. You felt her poverty and helplessness as she suffered one tragic loss after another due to forces beyond her control. Her rags to riches story will have you cheering and shedding a tear at the same time. Beth is the type of h I like in a HR, not only beautiful and smart, but I also want her inner strength to shine through by making her a tad vulnerable to the hero, but not to the expense she relinquish all control of her sexuality to him. No fear of that happening with Beth, her man might be MIA the majority of the story, but her needs were front and center...she did not disappoint. A girls got to do, what a girls got to do. I enjoyed reading about Beth's rise to power and love although I did not enjoy her H or the rush ending.

Raleigh was one slippery fish, he put the "cross" in star cross lovers. This guy was forever running away, sure messages were not delivered and information was withheld, I still wanted a H that was willing to fight for the h, and not run away and hide at the first sign of an obstacle. These 2 spent more time apart than together which is a shame because when they were together they had chemistry. But don't worry the supporting cast of characters helped to carry this story to a successful HEA, just be prepared for a choppy ending. There were so much more that could have been delved into by the author that cold have made TTRT a +500 page read.

This is a bodice ripper, so there are scenes of BR sex, and non-PC elements to the story like incest some readers may have a problem with. There are no scenes of incest but it is in the background lurking......so be warned.
