I teach labor and employment relations at Colorado State University. After earning my P. degrees at the University of Colorado, I taught at Pennsylvania State University where I was a tenured associate professor in the Labor Studies Department until returning to Colorado. In 2007, I was awarded a Fulbright Distinguished Chair in Labor Law at the University of Tuscia in Viterbo, Italy. My most recent book is a study of American labor law and how it shaped union formation, published by Praeger in 2015 ("The End of American Labor Unions: The Right-to-Work Movement and the Erosion of Collective Bargaining").
