This book was introduced in 2001-2003 as a replacement, for the more popular "Chemistry in Context." I found it to be less demanding than the aforementioned (having used it concurrently alongside this one), an was tailored to encourage specific progress through the curriculum by the plethora of self test quizzes and worked solutions.
