Special Relativity (.

Special Relativity (. The book covers numerous adjacent topics such as relativistic Doppler effect and particle dynamics and looks back and forth between the various implications of the theory together with the standard analytical framework to build a more complete understanding than I've seen in other books. It is not the fastest exposure to the concepts or primer of the relevant mathematics, but should build a more complete understanding for those willing to take the time.

There are many introductory books on quantum physics, but the author's style presented a nice detailed introduction of. .The book seller has given me an opportunity to own this great classic for a fraction of the cost of a new one. I'd certainly go with this seller again.

There are many introductory books on quantum physics, but the author's style presented a nice detailed introduction of the well known modern physics experiments that leads into the quantum world. Whether you have a super background in physics or just getting started, this vintage book is a classic.

The theory of relativity usually encompasses two interrelated theories by Albert Einstein: special relativity and general relativity. Special relativity applies to all physical phenomena in the absence of gravity. General relativity explains the law of gravitation and its relation to other forces of nature. It applies to the cosmological and astrophysical realm, including astronomy.

Download books for free. It thus dawned on me that perhaps optics and waves together with relativity could form a better foundation for all of physics than does classical mechanics. Such a path is much more fascinating to most college freshmen interested in pursing studies in physics - especially those who have been through the usual high school treatment of classical mechanics. I am also convinced that the development of physics in these terms, though not historical, is at least as rigorous and coherent as the classical approach.

Описание: Relativity Physics covers all the material required for a first course in relativity. This is not a book on general relativity per se and the author's treatment of this fundamental topic is concise, with the required differential geometry summarized in an appendix. Beginning with an examination of the paradoxes that arose in applying the principle of relativity to electromagnetism and classical mechanics, the author shows how Einstein resolved these problems.

Introductory Physics I and II A lecture note style textbook series intended to support the teaching of introductory physics, with calculus, at a level suitable for Duke undergraduates. Classical Electrodynamics A lecture note style textbook intended to support the second semester (primarily the dynamical portion, little statics covered) of a two semester course of graduate Classical Electrodynamics. How to Engineer a Beowulf Cluster An online classic for years, this is the print version of the famous free online book on cluster engineering.
