P-adic numbers, p-adic analysis and zeta-functions.

P-adic numbers, p-adic analysis and zeta-functions. The purpose of this book is twofold: to develop some basic ideas of p-adic analysis, and to present two striking applications which, it is hoped, can be as effective pedagogically as they were historically in stimulating interest in the field. The first of these applications is presented in Chapter II, since it only requires the most elementary properties of QP; this is Mazur's construction by means of p-adic integration of the c zeta-function, which ·'p -adically interpolates'' the values of the Riemann zeta-function at the negative odd integers.

there are some really nice exercises that allow the reader to explore the material. And with the exercises, the book would make a good textbook for a graduate course, provided the students have a decent background in analysis and number theory. Donald L. Vestal, The Mathematical Association of America, April, 2011).

Though not a recent publication, Koblitz outlines in a systematic manner much of the foundational material of p-adic analysis, and he does so in a way that makes it clear what the motive is for the various proofs and definitions that are used in the text. Unlike many introductory texts on p-adic analysis, it does not get bogged down early on in topology or measure theory, introducing topics only as they become pertinent, and so at least the beginning of the book should be accessible to any curious undergraduate with a reasonable background in analysis.
