Chemical Principles book.

This book, also based on a workshop, assesses the current state of chemistry and chemical. Seader, J. D. Chapter 1 Ten Principles of Economics. Martin's physical pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences: physical chemical and biopharmaceutical. Separation process principles : chemical and biochemical operations, J. Seader Separat. Semiconducting polymers : applications, properties, and synthesis.

Steven S. Zumdahl, Donald J. DeCoste.

A rigorous introduction for chemistry majors who have been exposed to various aspects of the subject but have not been trained to think like a chemist. Tackles advanced topics in gases, atomic theory, thermodynamics, and other areas, but begins with the fundamentals and builds to a level required for complete understanding. Assumes a solid background in algebra but no knowledge of calculus; appends all the mathematical operations required; and uses differential and integral notations only when absolutely necessary and explains them on the spot. A battery of supplemental material is available for both students and instructors. Includes a glossary without pronunciation. No bibliography. Annotation c. by Book News, Inc., Portland, Or.

Great book. I had a very poor to nonexistent background in chemistry and algebra but just got an A in General College Chemistry. I partially credit this book. Reading this book really helped me get more out of lectures. It's relatively easy to read and very helpful. It weaves in engaging topics such as real-world applications of the concepts we're learning. I also found it very interesting to learn about how early scientists developed and tested their theories. I have difficulty with reading comprehension and this book is one of the easiest-to-understand textbooks I've ever had.

This is one of those profs whom I call a Master scam artist. Comes out with a new version almost every year and gets his colleagues to force kids to buy the latest version instead of using cheaper used copies of this basic 12th grade syllabus in colleges. The book is so badly written that kids can barely solve any of the problems in it. They then have to shell out another $100 to purchase the solutions book. Why can't the solutions to a few problems be included that you don't need an answer sheet. Why can't the solutions be part of OWL ?

It's a standard chemistry textbook with everything formatted in a easy to learn style. Full of practice problems and examples to go with readings. I bought a used book but the seller could have honestly fooled me into thinking it was new with the condition it came in

Bought this for a chemistry class in college, and it was useful for explaining concepts that my teacher passed over. Lasted for both Chem I and II. Would recommend.

A good clear introductory chemistry textbook. Clear examples and color pictures and diagrams, the text is easy to read and the concepts are well explained and the author has a good style of building on one topic from another instead of it feeling like everything was written as a stand-alone section to the textbook. Answers to roughly half the practice questions at the end of each chapter are given (only the answers though, no explanations!).

The copy / print out is black-and-white. I was expecting an unbound color copy of the book. There are many places in the text where color is important, and I'm obliged to guess. I might well have purchased it anyway, given the convenience of the loose-leaf format and the commendable price....

Bought for Chemical Principles class. They could've explained it better.
This product was just as described by the seller. Perfect condition, no writing, water marks, or tears. The actual book though, I feel sorry for anyone who's professor is using this book. Other Chemistry books break down the information so it isn't an overload. This book crams three and four topics in one chapter which makes it really hard to absorb all the necessary info.
