I liked this calendar. The pictures are nice, and very interesting, making it compelling enough to remember to change the date daily. I agree with other reviews about the glue problem, it could be better attached. But in my case I didn't had any problems with falling leafs. So bottom line, I would buy this next year, but wouldn't be surprised if I had to return it.

I buy this every year. While the pictures are small, the printing is excellent. For those familiar with the website "Astronomy Picture of the Day" (APOD), this offers the same features, with a new image each day and text to describe what you are seeing. It has the advantage that you don't have to turn on your computer to see it. It is a fine gift for anyone in your family that follows astronomy news.

I ordered this calendar twice and both times it arrived with the glue binding broken up and the pages loose. The first order was with a major book seller and I returned it directly to one of their stores. They didn't have the same calendar in stock so I replaced it with another as a gift for someone else. I then ordered it from Amazon and again, it came with the faulty binding. Tired of having to order and return things I contacted the manufacturer directly and they told me they were aware of the issue and offered to replace it with a calendar on what they considered to be a similar topic. It turned out to be a calendar on simple science better suited for children than the person I was trying to shop for. I ended up giving it to a friend with children and am still without a proper replacement for the gift it was originally supposed to be. I don't blame Amazon one bit and am sure they would have been helpful if I'd contacted them. The manufacturer was also responsive and tried to be helpful but I have to wonder why they were sending these out the door when they knew they were faulty and I'm not that impressed with their idea of a replacement calendar.

I ordered this calendar and had to return it because it came apart. Amazon replaced it immediately, but the second one was no good either. Both times, it had come apart by the time it got to me. It isn't sealed up inside the box the manufacturer packages it in, and the pages come apart since there is nothing holding them down. So when it gets shipped, it moves around and comes apart. This is not something Amazon has any control of. It is a manufacturing error. This is really a shame as it looks like a great calendar, but it cannot be used since the pages all came loose.

Not once but TWICE I have tried to order this item through AMAZON this year. BOTH times it has arrived but not as a page a day calendar which you can turn over (As I have done in the previous two years with the same make) BUT they each arrived totally fallen apart - the binding adhesive didn't work, and the calendar block was more like a loose pack of cards. The previous years ones I have been able to keep in their entirety still attached, as the photos in the calendar are brilliant. But this year the binding is appalling. I AM STILL AWAITING A REFUND!
