I must write a few lines in ABSOLUTE SUPPORT of this fantastic book. The American Prophecies by Michael D. Evans is by far the most comprehensive oversight of God's prophetic voice stretching way back into the Ancient Scriptures to modern America. I don't think that anyone else has ever done such a powerful job in clearly expounding the Scriptural historic evidence to God's heart for Israel and America. I would recommend that every born-again Christian buy The American Prophecies, AND buy it for their entire family also!

Catholics are likely to take prophecies and self-proclaimed prophets with a large grain of salt and turn to our own Church for guidance. In the case of the war on terror and on the growing evil of Islamo-Facism, we aren't getting much help. Since our Church is a political entity as well as a religious one, perhaps it won't be soon coming.

That's why I read this book. I'm glad I did. It's a real call for Christians to stand up for our Jewish brethren and for Israel. It's also an expose of Clinton's attempted self aggrandizement at the expense of Israel and the free world, as well as that of the US State Department with it's own agenda.

While troubled between siding with Ishmael's children or those of Isaac--they are all God's children--we have all been witness to the evil of Wahabbism. By the Wahabbist's own definition, we cannot coexist with that. Praying for a united, free Jerusalem seems totally compatible with defending the free world.

I heartily recommend this book for all--there's a lot of meat even if you put the prophecies aside.

I got the book first from my library to read and as I began to read it I was so amazed and surprised by the information in it, I went and bought it from Amazon. I knew I would need to highlight some words, write notes in margins and generally mark it up and so I had to have my own copy. I have told friends and family about this incredible book. It is so detailed, so intense, so shocking that I have not been able to put it down for long, although I do take breaks to absorb, to think over and digest the information! One thing this book surely did was strenghten my faith because it showed me that we are all born with a desire to sin and when you add to that sin desire power, pride, money, fame and authority, it corrupts even more. Even Americans are guilty of it and have been since day one despite our noble desires and divine calling from God. This book shows how deeply and desperately we all need Jesus Christ to transform and save our wicked souls. This book changed my life and deepened my faith beyond measure.

I am overjoyed to know this well-researched Biblical study of prophecy has surpassed the sales of The DeVinci Code. Dr. Evans is to be highly commended for his study of the Scriptures and prophecies relating to Israel, the United States and terrorism. I was thrilled to learn important facts about decisions of our previous presidents, and pray President Bush will be made aware of the vital importance of his present and future decisions concerning Israel and treaties to divide lands that do not belong to us. My heartfelt prayer is that we as a nation will be revived and ready when our King comes to rapture His Body, the Church. Thank you, Dr. Evans, for your fine study and the way you laid out the prophecies for future reference. It is a book any Biblical scholar or person who loves the Lord Jesus Christ can use to be better informed of the importance of prayer for our leaders and to share or teach His Good News with others. This took great courage to even get this book into print. I had never heard of Michael D. Evans and was surprised to see what a young man he appears to be. (I don't know his real age.)He is a prophet of modern times. Exposing God's Word for what it is. TRUTH. Go ahead and try to prove what he says in the book is wrong. I've looked for America in the Bible, but never as hard as he did. The looking I did years ago, led me to believe that the place to be in these times is right where Mr. Evans is today, in Jerusalem. I pray, as God's Word, has declared from the time of Abraham as recorded in Genesis 12:3 "I will bless those who bless you and whoever curses you I will curse and all people on earth will be blessed through you." Ishmaelites don't seem to be blessing what God has blessed. Just make sure you do the reading and see what needs to be done.

Whether you are a Christian or not, this book does an excellent job of tracing the history of the Jews from Biblical times till now. It's worth your time, just from a historical perspective. I found the history of the United States relationsip with the Jews to be especially interesting. Not the stuff you'll read in our schools' history books! The book also covers the prophetical timeline of Israel and the Jewish race. Evans outlines what the Bible says will happen, where we are now in the that timeline, and what America must do to be in God's will and under God's protection. If you are interested in a down-to-earth book based in biblical truth rather than political correctness, by all means buy this book and read it!!

The Anti-Semitism that culminated in the the Nazi Holocaust has been transferred today to the Arab world, particularly those areas controlled by Wahhabi Moslems. Wahhabism sees the nation of Israel as a great threat to its passionate dreams of a world that espouses Islam as the only true religion. And the Arab world's hatred of the West, particularly America, can be traced directly to our support of Israel. Evans points out the dangerous ground we walk on when we accommodate the Arab world in order to secure a steady flow of oil. But scripture will not be denied, and the Abrahamic covenant in Genesis 12 clearly states that God will bless those who bless Abraham's descendants, and curse those who curse them.

Evans wrote this book as a wake-up call to Christians. The last few chapters are filled with scriptural references to the end times: the prophetic return of God's people to their promised homeland of Israel has taken place. Prophesies now turn to the promised Messiah- Evans believes that the Church must pray fervently for the last revival on earth before Jesus comes.
