As a Soviet monument the Monument. As a Soviet monument the Monument to the Polish Underground State and Home Army, the design, which is obelisk like, is actually quite stylish. Located just opposite the Polish parliament on Wiejska Street, it was erected to recognise the works of the veterans of the Polish Underground State and Home Army, an organisation that was not really recognised at the time during communist Poland. On the monument are the names of all the institutions and leaders of the Polish Underground.
