I agree that this particular book does not explain the larger concepts of the diet as well as his other books, but I find this book the most useful of the blood type diet books because it is laid out much better. I do not follow the diet in a strict way. I try to eat more beneficial foods and avoid the avoid foods, with plenty of exceptions along the way. Eating this way, I avoided many of the discomforts of pregnancy, and I had a truly remarkable birth and recovery. Furthermore, my baby has not yet showed any signs of digestive discomfort or random fussiness. I personally attribute this level of well-being to the eat right for your baby program. When I eat too many avoid foods, I start to feel it, and then I go back to avoiding those foods more. I highly recommend this book!

I have always eaten pretty healthy, but as I hit my thirties my digestive system started to have lots of problems. As someone not interested in dieting, I first dismissed the blood type diet when my Mom began pushing it on me. But as my digestive problems got worse, I was willing to try anything to avoid taking a bunch of medicine. Loosely following the blood type diet radically changed my quality of life. I got pregnant just a couple of months later and followed it through pregnancy, especially in late pregnancy. I ate the foods recommended in preparation for labor, and the nurses and doctors were shocked at how well and quickly my body recovered. Though I agree with a number of the critiques of this book, I have now bought copies for several friends who are planning families soon.

This is a great little guide to doing the best you can either raise your fertility levels or to help make diet choices to help your unborn bub. Even if you don't stick one hundred percent to what it says you will probably at least make a few better choices for your little one and that will make it worth the money you spend. It feels great just being able to do something positive through the inclusion of certain foods and the exclusion of some others.

I love this book, I used it, loosely, while trying to conceive my first son. I was so happy with the results that when I found out about a neighbor who had been having trouble conceiving I passed my copy on to her in the hopes that she would find success with it as well. Unfortunately we do not live anywhere near her to find out, but I was happy to share!

Since we are trying for number two, I had to order myself another copy! It was that great!

The book is very easy to follow, the only hard part is your will power to want to change. I find I have the hardest time letting go of some of my very favorite foods! So I personally start small, just by eating more of the beneficial foods to start, then letting go of the "avoids" (which are some of my fav's)slowly!

I appreciate hearing another theory about what is good and what is bad for your body. This book has interesting information about eating for your blood type, while I have been following it, I have felt great. The problem is I'm pregnant and have horrible cravings, the good thing is, the book gives you suggestions. Too bad milk chocolate doesn't work with my blood type
