I saw this in a women's magazine and was skeptical but looked it up and went to Atkins message board and was getting rave reviews there. I used this diet and lost 15 lbs. in just 3 weeks. I really like the variety of foods you don't get to eat with Atkins. If you like a more moderate approach to low-carb eating, this is for you. It really works and I didn't get it free or at a reduced price for my review. It's working for me, so now I'm an advocate! If you do it correctly, it will work...Also I am 62 yrs. old and have health issues that make it very hard for me to do much physical exercise beyond stretching daily. So if you can do a little more exercise than me, you will love it!

Lean for Life is not a balanced diet. At its core it's a high-protien, low-carb program. This works well for some people, but not for everybody. I felt fatigued, cranky, and hungry almost continually after my 5th day in ketosis. I experienced more strong food cravings than I have on any other program (and I've done them all.)
I've found that I do much better on a 40-30-30 type of program. Your body may do well on the Lindora program... just be sure you follow the instructions carefully, and don't stay on the weight-loss program for extended periods of time.

Great book. I liked the detail, notes, and list. I could copy the forms to use with my diet. I believe I will have the information I need for a better life diet and weight loss plan. This is something I need as I am a diabetic.

Easy to read , gives information on how to quick start your weight loss. I have owned this book for several years, my go to book when I get off track. It puts your body in the fat burning mode. Great book. I bought it for my daughter to use.
