It's good to read about pepole who are living useful and enjoyable lives.

It's good to read about pepole who are living useful and enjoyable lives. Mark Abramson has presented Tim and his many friends, both pos and neg in a light that portraies lives in a realistic and productve manner. Then mysteries are fun and the endings are surprising. The biggest problem I have with the series is waiting for the next book.

All of Abramson's wonderful characters--from Ruth's cat to Nick's grandma--have a part to play in this thriller and I, for one, am happy to welcome them back after a rather lean Book Three. There are some newcomers in this volume and hopefully other reviewers won't spoil the surprises. Briefly, a backed-up sewer at the Arts restaurant disgorges several body parts, unsettling everyone. Also unsettling are new faces on the scene: he's a model and too pretty for words; she is a bitch. Suffice it to say that the mystery grows and is solved and the identities of the newbies fit right into the scheme of things. The author is back on track with this volume in my opinion.

I really enjoy this series. It is an amateur sleuth murder mystery. It is also a paranormal mystery. I really enjoy the cast of characters in this series. This is a murder mystery. This also gives you a good look at the San Francisco Castro district.

IT JUST HAS NOT HAPPENED~!

It's like the reader becomes a part of the family. Sometimes,I get frustrated with Tim's pig-headed ness but I love all the characters, even the evil Dianne!
Can't wait to move on to the next adventure! I want to grow old with these folks!

This is the fourth book in the Beach Reading Series and I've read the previous three books. I had not expected that Tim Snow was an HIV victum when I ordered the first book. I've lived through all the years of HIV and AIDS and have been very fortunite not to have been afflicted, That is except for the loss of many friends in the early years of the desease. That has been difficult to accept. How I escaped, I'll never know. At the early years we didn't practice safe sex and I certainly didn't abstain.

I absolutely love his writing. His characters live and his use of the language is extremely well done and highly accurate. Best of all, the characters represent real people who matter to the reader. As Bloom said, I can't meet enough people, so I read to meet many more. (Paraphrase, obviously.) Thank you, Mark, for your works. You can't write enough books to satisfy me. How about many more?

I enjoyed it as much as the rest of the stories in the triology, Mark is a great author, and cant wait til the next volume is on the shelf, I have told many of my friends about him and his series, and to read them in the order in which they were written to understand and follow the story line.
Have read the entire Beach Reading series and feel like they are a gift that keeps on giving. Great stories with wonderful characters that will leave you wanting to visit with them again and again. The descriptions of San Francisco alone are reason to read the book and series.
