Nisa Santiago’s Bad Apple was a quick read but the story just moved way too fast. It got to the point that I was wondering what I missed. I love love loved i. t even got to the point where i wanted to cry and throw the book against the wall. This is treachery at its best. I loved the story lin Twins Apple and Kola have it out for each other since day on. eeling one always has to beat each. Her latest novel, Bad Apple – The Baddest Chick is slated for an October 2011 release date. The author emphatically states that her decision to start a new series instead of penning part 3 to Cartier Cartel was a brave one.

Ok the book started off with apple being this quiet girl from the hood. Wanting to get out of poverty and trying to get the hustler cross. Ok the writer made it seem that kola was the bad twin and apple-the quiet reserved twin. Then the younger sisters got murder all because of a debt owed by apple's naveity. You would think after what happen to Nichols this fool would stay away from the same guy who did this.. No she actually started a relationship with said guy and had the gall to be jealous of her sister who I like much better than this fool. The book was good not an over the top novel, hated how apple character was portrayed and then what she became after. I find myself hating apple each and every page after she became so cold. The jealously between twin was portrayed one sided and then when u finally read the book you realized that It was apple who was the jealous one not Kola. Hoping that kola would just take her out. Loved that kola was proven to be the Better twin and wiser twin. Hoping part two is more about kola and cross than stupid apple.

This is the tale of identical twin sisters Kola and Apple and their strong hate for one another. In the beginning Kola is the hustler and respected by the hood, while Apple plays the background as the more reserved twin. Apple's only dream is to get with a known hustler and be swept off her feet and taken care of. Things are looking up until Supreme the loan shark comes in and turns their family upside down. Once this happens Apple emerges cold and deadly, and begins to become hated around the hood, but no one hates her as much as Kola. The story was good, but at times unbelievable, I don't know of too many 17 year old girls that can be feared and rise to power so fast. So much happened in such a short time, literally months. I would recommend this book, it was fast paced and never a dull moment. Can't wait to see what's up when the twins in the next installment Coca Kola. I think Apple is going to give Kola a good fight because there can only be one queen but they both want the spot.

I received this book Thursday And Were done Sunday only because Christmas was Friday and didn't have time to read lol. I could NOT put this book down! The more I read, it was getting Dead Real! Omg, I should have ordered the whole series together. But I wanted to make sure it was what it was despite the reviews and 5 star feedback. People can think differently and interested in something totally different! Now that I know how incredible this book is, I went ahead and order the rest! I can not wait until they gets here! Nisa, you did that!

I received my books earlier this week and read all 3 books in this series in 3 days. LOVED THEM ALL!! I will be ordering book 4 today, FACE OFF. All three books were page turners. They were steamyyyy, action-packed, suspenseful, and entertaining. The worst part was when I finished the last book. I did not want the series to end. I recommend this series to anyone. Would also recommend Cartier Cartel and the sequel, Return of the Cartier Cartel. You will not be disappointed in ANY of these books! Before reading these books, I had never heard of this author. It's official now: I am a fan and will be passing my books to friends to read as well.

Yes there can only be one queen! This is my kinda read excellent read. Apple and Kola, Kola and Apple. These twins are fighting for something that they shouldn't be. They should have love for each other and fight these bottles together. Things are spiraling out of hand fast and there's no turning back. Over a small unnecessary moment that could have been changed with just the truth then things could have gone better. Anyway what would the story be like "BORING" lo. Thanks for the good read author Santiago...:-)On to part 2.

I am a fan of Nisa Santiago and even though this story was good it was not my favorite. I loved the story and the plot but somethings just pissed me off. One part made me sad but the hatred between sisters really got on my nerves at times. Nisa knows how to capture you in her books and she definetly did that again in this book but it was just something that I could not put my finger own. I waited until Coca Kola came out before I bought both books. I am reading Coca Kola and so far so good. I will continue to be a fan of Nisa Santiago's and her work.
I wanted to just stop reading this book at the middle point. The violence is graphic and it is not for the faint at heart. The only thing that kelp me reading is the fact that I had bought all four books in this series at the same time. I finished them all but be forewarned if graphic violence torture rape ain't for you just bypass this book set because in four books I think at least maybe 100 characters were killed. I skipped the sections of torture. I didn't want that in my mind.
