RELAYS JUNE 14 Charlottenbur, Berlin Colonel Peter Thorn stepped out of the shower and quickly slipped into the short-sleeved shirt and slacks he’d borrowed from their host. I bought this book for my Kindle, having read the author before and enjoying his work. Much to my dismay, the Kindle version is riddled with typographical and transcription errors. There is probably at least one error per page, which is more than enough to distract while I am trying to read.

The book seems OK, but I can't really tell because I can't read three sentences without having to change 'die' the 'the' in my head, or 'mat' into 'that' and on and on.

Just don't buy the Kindle version.

It starts off a little slow but picks up steam. I would have given it four stars but the book is full of typos. I expect better from a book. Doesn't anyone proof read anymore?

The story line for Mr. Bonds books are superb and suspenseful however the publisher for the kindle version of the book seems almost illiterate or does not have proofreaders review the book got typos or misspelling. It is very frustrating reading because the same errors or repeated throughout the book. I find this to be the case with all of Larry Bonds kindle version books. I actually contacted Mr. BOND to make him aware of the problem. He responded that he would contact the publisher to issue corrections but unfortunately this was not his priority because none were ever corrected. While I enjoy the stories I cannot accept such professionalism in publishing and will no longer patronize

As you may have noticed from the reviews you are reading, this book is not your usual Larry Bond book. I enjoyed how he had his characters track the mysterious shipment from Russia to the United States. His characters had emotion and you took interest in their plight. What may have been a little difficult to accept, is how these two solo individuals were able to perform beyond the abilities of most mere mortals. Having said that, I strongly recommend the book to all and give warning that you will not find a major battle sequence.

Probably would have been a decent read if it weren't for the atrocious and repeated errors in transcription to kindle format. It was obviously not proof-read the entire way through, as towards the second half of the book errors become more and more common until there are multiple errors in the same sentence. "in" become "hi", "the" becomes "die", etc., etc.

To get a sense of how frustrating this is, re-read the above with the same transcription errors:

grea read.
As expected Larry Bond delivers another well written, spellbinding edge of your seat novel. If it wasn't for need of sleep l would have read it straight through. Excellent read that I would recommend. Though the editor should have should have caught the spelling errors that are evident and obvious.
