Well-known writers of Western fiction include Zane Grey from the early 20th century and Louis L'Amour from the mid-20th century. Reviews about The Adventures of Comanche John: Western Stories (Five Star First Edition Western Series) (2):

I had read and reread THE FASTEST GUN by the same author and really enjoyed it. This book and two others by the same author seemed to me to be the same story rewritten. It was okay but I enjoyed the first the most(maybe because I had read it first.)The same could be said of THE RIPPER FROM RAWHIDE and RETURN OF COMANCHE JOHN. Product was as represented and delivery was timely. No complaints.
