Richard Bach's books always have a strong influence on me. It's silly to think that people really are able to walk through the walls, but when reading this man's books, I believe that they can. "Hypnotizing Maria" reminded me of my favourite "Illusions".

Jamie Forbes es piloto e instructor de vuelo y esta recorriendo por trabajo gran parte de Estados Unidos en su avioneta. En uno de sus viajes capta en su radio la llamada de socorro de una mujer, Maria Ochoa, quien le cuenta, muy asustada, que su marido ha sufrido un ataque mientras pilotaba la avioneta en la que viajan los dos solos y que cree que ha muerto. Jamie la calma y, desde su propia avioneta, la dirige en todas las maniobras necesarias hasta el aterrizaje. Cuando comprueba que la mujer esta a salvo en el aeropuerto, prosigue su viaje.
