The story immediately had me absorbed and I just wanted to keep reading. I felt I was there and knew each person so well. I loved the descriptions of her beautiful gowns right down to the day wear she made, you could visualise them. Loved the book and would recommend it highly.

This is the first novel I have read by Benita Brown, and I must say it was a truly heart warming novel. I immediately warmed to Melissa and it was encouraging to see that her character did not change throughout the book. I will certainly read more of Benita's novels and just hope that they are as good as this one. Go on read it you won't be disappointed. If you like Dee Williams, Anne Baker then you will love Benita Brown.
