Having just finished the second book in the series, I'm baffled. In The Wild Island, Jemima heads to a remote Scottish island for a quiet vacation. When she gets there, her host is dead and his odd family is virtually at each other's throats. Turns out the dead host thought he was the legitmate heir to Bonnie Prince Charlie.
