Robert N. Pripps was born on a small farm in northern Wisconsin in 1932. He then began a second career writing about historic and collectable tractors. He retired from his first career, in the aviation industry, at age 55. Bob has authored 25 books on tractors and has owned a variety of tractors over the years. He currently uses a restored Ford-Ferguson and a Massey 85 work tractor on his 55-acre maple syrup operation that is part of the farm on which he was born.
