Good reference guide though very dated. Written in the 50's with data from the 30's. Still carries lots of helpful information for current use.

Most books of this type have maps with numbers relating to the different locations and specific directions and rules, etc. I found this one not to have the information catagorized or labeled in this way so it was a bit more difficult to follow. I'm not an expert. This book did not help me in the ways I would have liked. I was hoping it was more like the other mineral and gems books I have purchased with maps and numbered sites and one large map with site locations on it.
On the other hand it does contain some interesting reading about gold and where it is found. This made the purchase about average in my book. It didn't reach my expectations however it didn't totally disappoint either.
