Reviews about The Organic Fruit and Vegetable Gardener's Year: A Seasonal Guide to Growing What You Eat (2):

I am an amateur gardener, with a small urban plot. I would like more of a description of the "zones" that other gardeners talk about that would help me understand the specifics about my region and my soil. This book seems to assume that spring here is the same and spring everywhere!

But aside from that, the graphics are beautiful, the tips for small gardens are great, and the tips and tricks to avoid needing pesticides are great. And some points need more clarity for new gardeners.

What a nice surprise to have a guide which is easy to undertand, and provides both visual and written instruction. This book contains all I need to know on the subject and will serve as my yearlong resource. Thank you Amazon!
