I am a huge fan of the old school Alien and Predator series. I loved the movies, the novels and the comics from Dark Horse. But this? This was pretty lame. The dialogue is stupid, the writer is trying too hard when they write for Batman. And Superman sounds way too weird, talking about "By Rao!" or "Great Rao!" way too much.

The Aliens are barely there, they are on like 8-10 pages total. The Predators are way too wimpy and barely put up a fight against Batman and Superman. The artwork is just okay and overall the story is uninteresting. Fans of any of these franchises should just give this a pass.

This was way too short to be any fun for me. No battle seemed to last more than a couple pages and with a lot (but still not enough) of backstory filling up the short volume, there are only a handful of battles. The action is about as complex/long as: Batman finds out there are Predators around. Superman finds out there are Predators around. Together, they find out there are aliens around. They fight a couple. The end.
I would like that 30 minutes of my life back now, please.

The artwork is excellent like a blend of Alex Ross and regular comic style, at times I would just stop reading to stare at how nicely it was drawn. I found the story very entertaining. Im not a fan of the Alien and Predator movies but I am a fan of the characters individually and add the Superman/Batman dynamic and you have a good read. I recommend it to anyone who is a fan of all 4 characters. The only negative is that I think they could have gone furthur with it, same storyline but more detail.

Pretty good stories and graphics. Could have done more with how they ended up meeting the "badies" and how their powers played in defeating them or were weakened in defeating them (less of) but overall a pretty good read!

This novel is fairly good with the art being quite realistic rather than the usual comic look. I think Batman was excellent and definately my choice out of the two heroes. I would have liked the Predators to have been more dangerous, but I won't spoil anything. As I said, a good novel!
There is no denying that the art is great. Sure. But i am not sure if it really matches the tone of the novel. I feel that too much was condensed in such a small amount of pages as well, like as if it was an abridged version of the story. There was little substance to the novel, and it was more of just watching 4 popular icons going at it. Considering that i love Batman, Superman, and the AVP series, this was a huge let down.
