Green Lantern VS the Manhunters, their leader and a bunch of presumed dead Green Lanterns killed by Jordan himself back in his days as Parallax. I enjoyed every single one of those stories. The first one is good action, but is also a little look at what Hal Jordan consider to be his perfect world. Read it and see it for yourself. Revenge of the Lanterns really pics up where the last volume left off nicely. Following up on the redemption storyline, Hal really has to contend with not only readjusting to the ways of being a Green Lantern but the fact his legacy is no longer "The Greatest Green Lantern" but rather "The most untrusted" something only Sinestro had accomplished before him.

This volume collects issues of the current Green Lantern comic helmed by Geoff Johns, and is the second book in the series following Green Lantern (Book 1): No Fear (or third, if you slot in the mini-series Green Lantern: Rebirth as the one that re-started it all). Featured artists include Ivan Reis, Ethan Van Sciver and Carlos Pacheco. As stated in the title, I found this volume to be a great starting point for getting into the current Green Lantern mythos.

Green Lantern is an ongoing American comic-book series featuring the DC Comics heroes of the same name. The character's first incarnation, Alan Scott, appeared in All-American Comics (July 1940), and was later spun off into the first volume. That series was cancelled in 1949 after 38 issues. When the Silver Age Green Lantern, Hal Jordan, was introduced, the character starred in a new volume of Green Lantern starting in 1960.

Reviews about Green Lantern Vol. 2: Revenge of the Green Lanterns (7):
Forcestalker
You get three Green Lantern stories from this one and each of them are definitely a good read. One is about Green Arrow and Hal Jordan facing off against Mongul, another featuring Batman, and the last being the 'One year later' story. For anyone reading the Geoff Johns run and wondering where Infinite Crisis fits, read the two stories before Infinite Crisis, then the one year later story. It's definitely worth it!

This book contains 3 different stories:

* Green Lantern and Green Arrow VS Mongul Jr.
* Green Lantern and Batman VS Tatooed Man.
* Green Lantern VS the Manhunters, their leader and a bunch of presumed dead Green Lanterns killed by Jordan himself back in his days as Parallax.

I enjoyed every single one of those stories.

The first one is good action, but is also a little look at what Hal Jordan consider to be his perfect world. Read it and see it for yourself. I was moved by it.

The second arc was also a cool one because it works to set things right between Hal and Bruce. Kind of a short, good and fun story to read.

The third one is a good revelation: Who is behind the Manhunters that all of a sudden got back to business in "Green Lantern: No Fear". I found it exiting and is a pretty important part for "Sinestro Corps War".

For the price this book is sell I recomend it to have it ASAP. Worth every dollar!.

Hal fights his way to save his old comrades and prove himself to be the best Lantern!

Not only was the main story of the Green Lantern crew that returns enjoyable, but we also get two additional stories that contain both the Green Arrow and Batman. What a deal! I love any Green Lantern/Arrow team up especially ones including Black Mercy and the "what if" type scenarios. I'm new to the Green Lanterns and thanks to Geoff Johns will be a dedicated fan for a very very long time.

I really don't have much more to say than to start reading this series as soon as possible. Even if you are not a comics book fan, Geoff Johns has done another great job with his restart and interpretation of the stories) that needs to be told. One of the better parts of this volume covers the back story of the parallax and the restart of the corps.

I was collecting some back issues of Green Lantern, and I enjoyed this one.
Took about a month extra to get to me, but man when I open the book, it was signed by Geoff Johns and Ethan Van Sciver. It was totally worth the wait!
