I found this book to hold a lot of explanation of common everyday things that happened to Jesus in his lifetime here on earth & how he handled them. Even with his almighty power he made himself as low in position in human life as one would be considered at that time. He showed that even the lowest being in man's eyes was held most high by God. As is said it is written in plain English so all can understand. Definitely worth the time to read. There is something there fir everyone.

Fantastic, highly applicable, practical, moving, a very engaging and relatively "easy" read that moves you and sticks with you. However, it's one of the ugliest covers I've come across. Also the print font is tiny (this is like a 6x9 pocket size, hard cover). I much prefer the version of this that has the GOLD foil cover. Same content, just a nicer look and feel.

I enjoy immensely the writings of Max Lucado and this book is at the top of my "LIKE" list. It's a book for those seeking to know the heart of Jesus more and how to seek Him. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to know Jesus and those who want to know Him better.
