William Austin Dillon (November 6, 1877 - February 10, 1966) was an American songwriter and Vaudevillian. He is best known as the lyricist for the song "I Want A Girl (Just Like The Girl That Married Dear Old Dad)" (1911), written in collaboration with Harry Von Tilzer. It can be heard in Show Business (1944) and The Jolson Story (1946). He was born in Cortland, New York and performed at some point in Vaudeville with his brothers John and Harry. He billed his own act as the "man of a thousand songs".

On time and good principles to use for someone who is saving to go to the mission field or if you already are a Protestant Christian Missionary and are now deciding to look for sponsors. This is book is written from the formal perspective. Christ Sacrifice is sufficient to forgive us of ALL our sins and trusting in Him alone as our savior we have complete forgiveness and a guarantee spot in Heaven! AMEN!

Fundraising for most missionaries, especially new ones, is often a daunting and even scary task. Next to confidence in God's call to serve in missions and faith in God's provision for this call, this book provided me with the tools to get through two missions works. In clear and brief chapters, the book biblically defends the practice of fundraising and then lays out a clear path for fundraising that anyone can follow. Fundraising is still hard, and will challenge your faith in ways that few other things will, but the advice and plan laid out in this book will successfully guide you through the process. May God use this book to bless you in your missions endeavor .

This book is primarily written for missionaries raising support but as a church planter it proved to be a useful resource as well. I didn't really use it the way it was designed - as a small group resource with discussion questions. But I did read through it and sometimes stop to think through the questions at the end of each chapter. In the overwhelming process of raising support, this was a very helpful and encouraging guide.

My wife and I serve with several non-profits. Just because a noble / holy cause doesn't make a profit doesn't mean that they don't need money to function. This book directs us to be personally deputized to raise funds by building relationships with others -- those who know you and your character will be more likely to donate. Face to face presentations, not just massive mailing campaigns work best.

Would be 5 stars, but as we bought copies for all the other board members in one charity -- we got ZERO response from any of the others. My wife and I are using the inspiration of this book to motivate us -- why doesn't it motivate others?

This is NOT the best book of the subject I have read and it SERIOUSLY is in need of updating. Support raising has seriously changed since the world of Social Media has started.
If you are in the support raising field this is a must read, it is full of fantastic and helpful information.
