Excellent review of biblical prophesy, but missed on several points.

This book is a very "traditional" understanding of the Rapture, but does not include the point that the "Great Tribulation" was over by Chapter 7 verse 14 of the Revelation. This means all three Rapture scenarios (the Pre-trib, Mid-trib, or Post-trib) could be explained by this fact. Jesus tells us (as he describes the time of great tribulation in Matthew, Mark and Luke) that all repentant Christians are taken away after (or during?) an event identical to the sixth seal. In fact, The Revelation Chapter 7, verse 14 declares this as the truth.

The first four seals are Jesus' description of the time of great tribulation. This means that the "Great Tribulation" has been in effect since the Apostle John wrote the last book of the Bible.

The book, "Your Revelation" (Amazonbooks.com), is an excellent analysis of the entire book of The Revelation, including insight into the four seals, the Antichrist, an end-time timetable and other points of interest.

Are you ready for the most monumental event in human history? A day is coming when millions of people will suddenly disappear and the world will have a difficult time trying to explain what has happened.
This book is sprightly but respectfully written. It is certainly not deep or complex theologically. It was designed to be read by your average "Joe." It is an excellent complement to Hal Lindsey's books about the Rapture which concentrate more on the biblical explanations and history of church teaching on the topic. Strandberg and James do make excellent use of shaded areas of some pages that allow readers, who are interested to take side trips to particular parts of the bible, to study for themselves that the Rapture is coming and probably sooner than anyone knows.
The book is certainly a witnessing tool for non-believers today; however the book is also addressed to those "left behind." The book anticipates that the Rapture of believers will be the biggest media event of all time. There will be hysteria, panic and a bevy of experts on CNN, FOX and the major networks attempting to provide explanations and answers to grief-stricken, confused people. The book candidly explains what the Book of Revelation foretells about world events coming for these people left behind. Yet, promises from the bible are detailed for those who believe despite persucution. Instructions are clear that one left behind must not accept the mark and worship of the coming world leader.
I pray this book gathers a wide audience. As for me, I plan to leave a copy of the book in my office in the hope one of my co-workers will find it after the Rapture. With the peace efforts by President Bush in the Middle East right now, I have goose pimples that the prophecies of Daniel, Ezekiel, Zechariah and the Apostle John are so rapidly unfolding right before our eyes.
Todd and Terry have found an unique way to continue their ministry even after they are no longer physically here after the Rapture. Thank you Todd and Terry, not only for the book but also the website that provides even more information:

Todd and Tery do a great job of explaining Bible prophecy with just the right blend of humor to keep it entertaining, yet with the deep insight of years of study.
Many authors have an annoying habit of becoming dogmatic about issues better left to speculation (such as date-setting, or the identity of the anti-Christ), but this book never does that. It simply provides solid Scriptural support for all it's assertions, while sticking to a literal appropach to prophecy sure to please fundamental Christians, or (even more importantly) to edify those seeking the truth who haven't yet found it.

The first half of this book is not very good. Strangely it gets really good in the 2nd half. An ok read.

The study of end-time events and Bible prophecy are laid out in easy to read terms and discriptions. Todd Strandberg has a great way with words. It is humorous and yet the information on Bible Prophecy is maintained through out the book. It's a great read and I enjoyed every page.
What stands out in this book compared to others who write on this subject is Todd Strandberg's honesty and humor. He gets the facts straight from the Bible and from world events. It's an eye opener. It is an exciting book to read on this subject and there is not a dull moment.
It's a good book and I recommend it for everyone, both old and young.

Todd Strandberg joins the ranks of other notorious pretrib authors trying to cash in on the false teaching of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture. The book's content is merely a rehash of the articles on his website which are among some of the best examples of poor exegetical skills, though not nearly as good an example as Lahaye's "Rapture Under Attack". If you want to read another book that takes the Scriptures out of context and allegorizes its passages, and if you want to study a doctrine thats 200 years old compared to what the early church believed, then by all means read this book. However, if you would rather spend your time studying the doctrine of the Second Coming that has stood the test of time (2000 years) then you would be better off reading "The Church and the Tribulation" by Robert Gundry. As for me, I'm sick of these books that rack in the money by twisting scripture and tickling the ears of its readers.
This is a wonderful book. It is full of facts and humor. It lays out the reasons why the Pre Trip Rapture will occur. It also lays out the Salvation message. It is very informative on what will happen in the future. This is a good read. It is Bible based. So my final question for you is Are You Rapture Ready? If not read the book!!!
