This book was my childhood favorite! I am happy to have found it in such great condition. I can now share this book with my daughter and read all about Mike's adventure on a family trip. Mike happens to be bore when he is out with his family. He stumbles upon a Cookie shop in the middle of the forest and buys cookies from an old man. Little does he know those animal cookies are wild animal cookies! His whole family turns into the cookie they eat!! The cuteness of this book is too much. I highly recommend it for a young child with a lot of imagination. I hope my daughter loves this book as much as I do and make it a family tradition, just like Mike's family trip.

This was my favorite book as a kid, my dad used to read it to me and my sister almost every night! My cousin just had a baby shower and she wanted everyone's favorite baby books to jump start her library... Needless to say I knew EXACTLY what book to get!

I highly recommend this book especially to Teachers. I buy animals cookies and dress up like a wizard in my Library, and give the kids one cookie each.They have to identify it, then during the story when Mikie eats an animal cookie and then turns into that animal, the kids LOVE it!!!Just wish i could of got it in hardcover.

Bought that book years ago for our granddaughters and it quickly became their favorite. When they got rid of most of their 'litte kid books' they kept this one. Now I just bought it again for our new baby. She's too young for it now but I wanted to be sure I'd have it for her too. The book came in fast and was in perfect condition.

Great book and condition. Aside from the name right on the front of the book. But that was to be expected. My daughter loves it.

funny little story!

Was brought here from Jimmy Fallon's show, totally disappointed the magic cookies have nothing to do with marijuana to quote President Trump "SAD!!", but if read while high makes for a great time so five out of five, would read again.

Mike and the Magic Cookies is the best first grade book I have ever read. It all started when my kindergarten friend, Amanda brought it to my house to read (she loves to read!)! When she was finished, I read it. I think it has been one of my most favorite books EVER! Now, I am in the seventh grade and still ask her if I can borrow it. It's different every time I am reading it because I am growing up. I would like to tell all you "magical" readers out there that this book is for you!
