The adventures are an arbitrary sequence of ups-and-downs which involve a cranky teacher and a petty crook and result, by an unlikely coincidence, in Vim's return to his windowsill with lots and lots to tell

Written and Illustrated By Niki Daly

Written and Illustrated By Niki Daly. The stuffed mouse in this story is snatched from a windowsill by a cat, left in a puddle, rescued by a trash collector, taken to school by the trash collector's little girl, confiscated by the teacher, stolen by a robber and returned at last to his own windowsill as the robber is caught breaking into the premises. Happy drawings in ink and soft colors show every stage in the odyssey of this engaging mouse. Written and Illustrated By Faith Jaques.
