I bought all of the fairies books for my granddaughter when she was born so that she would have them when she grew up. I made her a Fairy Quilt to go with the books and wanted her to enjoy the fun of being a little girl again, when ever she chose. I remember these as a child and you can never have too much of the delightful fairies. These books are like the "lost encyclopedia" I had as a child.

Flower Fairies of the Autumn. My sister and I recieved three of the books as gifts when were children and have fought over possession of them ever since. How to Find Flower Fairies. Thank goodness my sister managed to keep the three we had all these years (I am 35 now). I always thought they were just gorgeous little books someone had stumbled upon and we'd never be able to complete our set. I remember staring at the rich and vibrant colors and the charming little fairies for hours as a child.

Another fantastic collection of flower fairies from Cicely Mary Barker, even though many of the flowers weren't strictly related to flowers. Lots of the trees in this collection were obviously chosen because they were of the flowering variety (fruit trees in abundance), but I honestly found the non-flowering trees to be a nice change.
