This is a cute book about how a tooth fairy operates. The author does a great job of explaining her idea of how a tooth fairy works and makes it funny at the same time. I love the way the tooth fairy is portrayed differently than how many people think of her. I think that children would get a great laugh out of this book and could really enjoy this story. I also like how it is written in first person point of view so the reader has the ability to shape the character by the expressions shown.

Sheri Bell-Rehwoldt, a military brat, graduated from the University of Texas (Hook 'em, Horns!!) and has the framed diploma to prove it, though she can't. Sheri wrote the book after the Tooth Fairy made a late night appearance, during which she demanded that Sheri set the record straight. I'm a technology chick," Sheri swears the Tooth Fairy declared. The whole fairy dust thing is soooo old school. Sheri's first middle-grade novel, about a kid who'd rather live anywhere but the junk lot he calls home, is currently with her agent.

Sheri Bell-Rehwoldt is an award-winning magazine writer and the author of two children's activity books. This is her first picture book. She lives in Buffalo, New York. David Slonim is the author and illustrator of several children's books, including the "irresistible and infectious" He Came With the Couch. He lives in Indiana with his wife, Bonnie, and their four children.

This book was recommended by a friend for my daughter that was about to lose her first tooth. I'm so glad I bought it. My daughter laughs every time we read the book. It will be treasured for years to come.

Edit for update: This book continues to be a favorite for my two boys ages 5.5 and 3. Neither have lost s tooth but they really do love this book.

One of our favorite books to read with my daughter (she is 7). It is fun, full of action, and has great illustrations. Also, if you have a daughter, this book is very empowering. Highly recommend!

Cute, funny story. For once the fairy has a super-hero style. It's entertaining, and funny to read.

Read this book with my six year old who has a new tooth coming in. We both LOVED it. I also work in a dentist's office and plan to bring it in there when we are done reading a bunch more times. I highly suggest getting this for young kids.

4 year old Grandson loves it and almost has it memorized!
Cute book. I combine it with a tooth fairy pillow that I make and it makes a great baby shower gift.
